Overview of Main Responsibilities and Duties:

You will be the face of Thomas Cook within our sales business and work towards our vision "we go further to make dreams come true". You will be responsible for assisting our customers in finding the perfect holiday and ensuring that you achieve both individual and store targets including the sale of foreign exchange.

Key Areas/Tasks

Profit:

• Contribute to achieving store profit through achieving individual targets set.
• Maximise all sales opportunities through customer interaction.
• Maximise sales of foreign exchange and other 'holiday extras'.
• Adhere to company policy and compliance guidelines
• Take responsibility to ensure that we follow up all enquiries to make sure we never lose a sale.

Customer:

• Consistently provide a professional service that exceeds customer expectations.
• Identify customer needs through effective questioning and selecting appropriate products.
• Take ownership for consistent delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Display a genuine, natural, respectful and willing approach to each and every customer
• Ensure appropriate sales messages are displayed.
• Take a personal ownership for achieving store target customer service scores from all mystery shopper surveys.
• Maintain store brochure display and stock levels
• Take responsibility for own personal development by seeking feedback from others and acting upon it.

Team Work:

• Be an effective team member
• Share ideas and learning with other team members
• Offer encouragement and assistance to team members

Product Knowledge:

• Gain product knowledge through learning and experience and use effectively with different customers.
• Gain an in-depth knowledge of all Thomas Cook products through effective use of development tools.
• Use product knowledge to identify sales opportunities and match right holiday to customer requirements.
• Use product knowledge to gain customer's confidence and close the sales.

Experience:

• Experience of working in a customer facing environment
• Experience of working towards set targets
• Experience of cash handling

Qualifications:

• GCSE or equivalent at grade C in Maths & English is preferred
• Travel related qualifications are preferred

Technical Skills:

• PC literate
